To take a hot-air balloon ride:
No particular physical aptitude is required
Must be at least 6 years old. Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult during the flight. Parental authorization is required if parents are not present.
No minimum height. Gondolas are approximately 1.20 m high.
You must be able to climb into the basket and stand for about an hour.
If you have any medical problems, please call us and ask your doctor for advice.
No vertigo or airsickness!
Bags are not allowed, but don't forget your cameras for great memories.
Allow about 1 hour for the flight and about 2h30 / 3H of activity in total.
Flights take place at sunrise or sunset to take advantage of the best weather conditions.
Wear casual sportswear and good walking shoes or tennis shoes. The temperature is the same in the air as on the ground.

What you need to know

TIMETABLE: Meeting times are chosen according to sunrise or sunset, when the air is most stable. In the morning, the lights are whiter, and this is a good opportunity to see animals. Evening colors are rosier and more romantic. Which do you prefer? It's up to you to decide what suits you best: day and flight slot. We'll send you all the details of your hot-air balloon flight, including the meeting address and practical information, as soon as the date has been confirmed by our reservations department.

Flights in the Pyrenees only take place at sunrise.

MAKE A GIFT: Are you buying tickets as a gift? No need to book a flight date! Give the tickets as a present, and the lucky recipients will contact us later. That way, you leave them as many options as possible.

FLIGHT SEASON: The best flight seasons are spring, summer and autumn. In winter, hot-air balloons take a break to refresh themselves. Hot-air balloon flights take place every day from April to October, provided the weather conditions are good.

VALIDITY OF TICKETS: These tickets are non-refundable. In the event of bad weather, it's up to you to find another date, you have the whole season to fly and can choose one of the 4 regions.

RATES Child ticket 4 REGIONS: This low fare is calculated for a child aged between 6 and 12 inclusive, but children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the flight. Parental authorization is required if parents are not present. The gondola can accommodate an average of ten people, depending on demand. Tickets can be used on weekdays, weekends or public holidays.

Hot-air balloon tickets or non-refundable gift vouchers valid for 1 year, to cover one flying season.

The stages of a ballooning experience
A balloon flight over one of the following sites: Chenonceaux, Saumur, Fontainebleau or Vaux-le-Vicomte OR the Pyrenees.
Be there: early in the morning or late at night! The pilot and crew will be waiting for you at the meeting point. A final wind test and you're invited to climb into the 4x4s. The adventure begins! Ready to touch the clouds?
Leave everything superfluous in the vehicles. All you need is your camera, and you'll be able to take some great pictures as a souvenir.
We've arrived at the take-off site. Here you can watch the balloon being inflated and prepared. The pilot explains the instructions. Little by little, the envelope is inflated with cold air. Then, thanks to the burners, the air becomes hot and the balloon gently rises.
The balloonist invites you aboard. A few strokes of the burners to warm up the balloon, and you're off, gently, for about an hour's flight.
It's like being on a cloud, with a 360° view. Let yourself be amazed by the spectacle of nature. Your first flight in a hot-air balloon gives you the opportunity for a real moment of contemplation. The winds carry us and steer the balloon. The pilot controls only the ascent and descent of the balloon. There's no feeling of vertigo; you simply enjoy the moment.
The flight comes to an end. The pilot is now looking for a place to land. He gives you the landing instructions a few meters from the ground. Are you in position? Hop, you've landed!
Depending on the strength of the wind, the balloon may stay upright or lie down. In any case, wait for the pilot to invite you to do so before descending.
The crew have followed you in their 4x4 and are now meeting up with you. We all pack up the balloon before sharing your emotions over the traditional balloonist's toast!
After the bubbles and the beautiful images in your head, it's off again for a ride in the 4x4 and a return to the initial rendezvous point.

Val-de-Loire Anjou Ile-de-France or Pyrenees in a hot-air balloon

Chenonceaux: the small village of Chenonceaux is located in the Val-de-Loire region of France. Its chateau needs no introduction! Also known as the Château des Dames, it was remodeled during the Renaissance and offers an incredible sight to behold. Built in the middle of the Cher River, the château is surrounded by a green setting of formal gardens and surrounding forests. The region also offers a unique landscape shaped by farmers and winegrowers.

Saumur: between the Centre region and Brittany, here's Anjou, a beautiful wine-growing region where the UNESCO World Heritage Loire River winds its way. We look forward to welcoming you to the commune of Saumur. The majestic château was built throughout the Middle Ages. Its princely architecture dominates the Loire and its sandbanks.

Fontainebleau or Vaux-le-Vicomte in the Ile-de-France region: you'd think this was a heavily built-up area. Yet around Fontainebleau lies the famous Fontainebleau forest, a veritable lung just a stone's throw from Paris. Vaux-le-Vicomte is not to be outdone, with its wooded landscape and GR1 hiking trails. The châteaux of Fontainebleau and Vau-le-Vicomte are magnificent examples of 17th-century architecture.
Pyrenees Orientales: Bourg Madame rises to an altitude of around 1,200 m, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. We look forward to meeting you at this geographical crossroads at the gateway to France, Catalonia and Spain. Depending on the wind conditions, we'll be waiting for you on either the French or Spanish side, to make your flight as spectacular as possible.
