Art Montgolfières offers 4 flight sites in Touraine:

Touraine is an ancient French province, radiating out from the city of Tours. With the Loire River running through it, Touraine is blessed with a fine collection of famous Loire castles. Touraine has been called "The Garden of France" ever since Rabelais had Panurge say so.
The mildness of its climate and the quality of its soil have a lot to do with it. But since the Renaissance, remarkable parks and gardens have confirmed this reputation.

Chenonceau Castle
Take to the skies in a hot-air balloon to admire one of the most beautiful châteaux in the Loire Valley.
The Château de Chenonceau in Indre-et-Loire is one of the jewels in the crown of the Châteaux de la Loire. It is France's most-visited privately-owned historic monument, with its geometrically patterned gardens and grounds seemingly designed to be admired from the air.
Its particularity is that it was built on water.

Amboise castle
Visit the royal chateau of Amboise from the air. This is not only the palace of François 1er, but also the burial place of Leonardo da Vinci...
It's a landmark in French history!
Discover royal luxury and the French art of living in a very original way: take to the skies in a hot-air balloon, and admire this masterpiece from an unrivalled vantage point.

The Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire
It's time to settle into the basket of our hot-air balloon, to contemplate the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire.

The Château overlooks the Loire Valley. It is a fortified castle, whose architecture was transformed during the Renaissance. The Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire is very active in landscaping and hosts the International Garden Festival.

Loches castle
Let's leave the castles of the Renaissance for a moment, for a medieval city. In Touraine, Art Montgolfières invites you to take a flight over the medieval town of Loches, home of Alfred de Vigny.
The keep of this stronghold, nestled on a rocky outcrop, still seems to protect the city of Loches. The castle walls, with their solid stone towers, and the height of the keep, make this medieval town an impressive place to see from the air. A balloon flight is the perfect way to admire this type of monument.

Our company, Art Montgolfières, was founded in Touraine in 2005. It's no coincidence that this province of France is one of the most popular for hot-air ballooning.
Its mild climate means that non-drifty balloons can be flown safely and frequently.
The richness and variety of its landscapes are also important assets.
Above all, Touraine is the royal land of the Loire castles. These extraordinary architectural monuments, the envy of France the world over, bordered by their parks and gardens, are perfect places to discover by balloon.

Unlike other flying machines, a hot-air balloon makes no noise and does not disturb the inhabitants. On the contrary, when those who remain on earth see it rise into the sky, they are delighted to see this simple balloon grace the sky with its round shapes.
