Native from Amboise, Charles Aréthuse assisted in his childhood to the first ever flights in the Loire Valley and did his first flight at 6 years old. During his childhood, he did many kilometers with his bicycle following the balloons and assist at their landing.

After being graduated from Local tourism management, he got his hot air ballon pilot diplôma and then the passenger transportation certificate. In 2005, at 20 years old, he created Art Montgolfieres and became the youngest entreprenor from the Region Centre. Always looking for more, he got his instructor certificate in 2006.

Since that, the company always grew. In 2007, Charles Aréthuse open a bed and breakfast with 2 rooms, renew an old farm to open 3 more rooms in 2009, and now a spa area with swimming pool, jacuzzi ad sauna will open in 2012.

In 2008, the flight area grow from Touraine to Anjou and Sologne. And last but not least, eco-friendly, he builded his warehouse with solor panel in 2010.
